Exeter vs. Rayleigh

In 1953 both Exeter and Rayleigh raced in the Southern League
equivalent to a third division.
However this meeting was in the Queens Cup competition, held
to celebrate the Coronation of 1953.

 

Hackney vs. New Cross
April 10, 1963
 
 
     
     

The first meeting at Hackney since 1939 - a challenge match against
London rivals New Cross. I was there, the writing is mine.
The stadium has now been demolished to make way for the new Olympic
Stadium to house the Olympic Games in 2012.
