"Pompano Beach, Florida. 1st was Rick Smith, 2nd Rod Cowell and I think (Rowdy) Rick Stone was third.  I remember the finish well.  Rick and I were tied on points and had a two man run off for the Championship we both crashed.  They gave the race to Rick because he and his bike went further down the track them me."
